A more rural Californian experience can be found to the northeast of the Bay. With commuter access provided by the Interstate 80 corridor midway between San Francisco and Sacramento, this area boasts the last vestige of affordable housing in the Bay Area.

Tucked into rolling hills or bordering farmland, woodland, and ranches, the housing varies by greatly by town. Rents in the region, tend to be reasonable.
This part of the Bay also has some of our most historic towns (Benicia), a college town (Davis), and growing towns committed to developing housing for families (Vacaville).
